Storytellers (Mark 5:1-20)Brian Boucek, July 14, 2019
Part of the series, preached at a Sunday Morning service
Evangelism can be as simple as sharing stories with the people you know.
- Go home to your own people and tell them
We don't have to go overseas, or to the inner city. Stories can be more effective with people we already know.
- How much the Lord has done for you
Yes, talking about Jesus can be terrifying, but the command here is just to tell stories about what Jesus has done for us, and how we are different (transformed) because of Christ.
- And how He has had mercy on you.
And that He saved us because of His love. That's the happy ending.
Challenge: Spend some time to write out your story/stories. "I was _____, now I am _____." And write out the story of Christ's mercy. That way, you'll be ready when the opportunity comes to tell them.
